MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Megan Hupp (Arcadia / Fr. / Virginia Beach, Va.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Hupp set three individual program records and was a member of two program record-setting relays as the Knights had a program-best performance at the 2016 ECAC Winter Championships, where Arcadia placed seventh of 14 teams, 12 of which were Division I and III programs. She placed third in the 1,650 freestyle with a record-setting time of 17:50.83, and in the process broke her own school record in the 1,000 freestyle (10:48.33). Hupp placed fifth in the 500 freestyle in 5:11.94, breaking her own school record in the event, and placed 11th in the 200 freestyle (1:58.07). She was also a member of the program record-setting 200 freestyle relay (1:39.77) and 800 freestyle relay (7:58.25) teams, both of which placed fourth. Hupp’s 1,000 free, 1,650 free and 500 free times are best in the conference, while her 200 free time ranks fourth in the MAC. Both relay times rank second in the conference.
