MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Emily Lavin (Eastern / Sr. / F / Port Monmouth, N.J.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Lavin averaged 23.3 points 12.7 rebounds, 3.7 blocks, three assists and two steals over three wins for the Eagles. She also finished the week shooting 65 percent (28-of-43) from the field and 88 percent (14-of-16) from the charity stripe. The senior capped the week with a nearly perfect performance making 12-of-13 (92 %) shots from the field and all four foul shots to finish with 28 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in a 69-53 win over Wesley. She notched 25 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals in a 78-58 win over Lehman. Lavin also had a double-double in a 68-60 win of Hartwick with 17 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks.
