MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Jason Kenny (Misericordia / So. / G / Dickson City, Pa.) earns his third conference weekly award of the season. Kenny led the Cougars to a 2-0 week in conference action, reaching 100 points in both games. The sophomore averaged 57 percent (16-of-28) from the field, 58 percent (7-of-12) from behind the arc while also averaging 22.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. Kenny recorded 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting (3-of-4 long range) with six assists and two steals in a 103-76 win at Wilkes. He then recorded 21 points with 4-of-8 shooting from behind the arch, five rebounds and three assists in a 101-75 win over FDU-Florham.
