MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Bryan Gillen (Arcadia / So., RF / South Plainfield, N.J.) led the Knights to a 3-1 week, including wins over Marietta and Amherst who are receiving votes in the national poll. Gillen batted. 438 (7-for-16) with four runs scored and two RBIs from the leadoff spot. He scored a run in each game and had two or more hits in three of four games. The sophomore went 2-for-3 with an RBI, run scored and a walk in a 4-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan. He went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a 4-3 win over Marietta, and then Gillian went 2-for-5 with an RBI and run scored in a 4-2 win over Amherst.
