MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Elizabeth Drda (Lebanon Valley / So. / Camp Hill, Pa.) was victorious with perhaps LVC’s most important singles win of the season when she came away with a 7-5, 6-3 decision in a come-from-behind 5-4 win over Messiah to lock up the top seed in the conference tournament. The team win snapped Messiah’s 17-match conference win streak and gave the Dutchmen a seventh-straight win this season. Drda finished the week 2-0 in singles action as she won her singles match against Albright earlier in the week by a score of 7-5, 6-0.
