Bill Winters went 17-of-32 for 249 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions through the air while adding an additional 37 yards and one touchdown on the ground in FDU’s 49-30 win over Apprentice, the first win of the Devils’ season. Winters’ touchdown passes were for 21, 42, 10 and 28 yards while his rushing touchdown was from 14 yards out. Winters has accounted for three or more touchdowns in all three games this season but the five on Saturday were the most he’s had in a single game since the 2008 season opener.
