MAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Ta’riq Thomas (Delaware Valley / Jr. / Woodstown, N.J.) earns his third-straight conference weekly honor. Thomas finished in the top-8 in both the long jump and triple jump at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday. Thomas was the top Division III competitor in the long jump, beating several Division I jumpers to take the podium in eighth-place with a mark of 7.05 meters. Thomas then took seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 14.51 meters, beating several more Division I athletes. Both fields had more than 30 competitors.
