MAC Women’s Runner of the Week
Kelly Winklbauer (Stevenson / Jr. / Mount Airy, Md.) captured a first-place finish for the individual title at the Mustangs’ Shannon Henretty Invitational. Winklbauer won the 6K race in a time of 23:37.97. The junior’s time was nearly 19 seconds faster than the runner-up finisher from Messiah. It is the second-straight Shannon Henretty Invitational title for Winklbauer, running nearly two minutes faster than her winning time in 2016. She led the Mustangs to a runner-up team finish.
