Defensive Player of the Week
Nick Wright (Delaware Valley / Sr., LB / Hatfield, Pa.) earns his second conference weekly award. Wright led the No. 7 Aggies to a 41-6 win on the road against No. 24 and previously unbeaten Albright. The senior recorded six tackles (five solo), one tackle for loss, two touchdowns including a pick-six. Wright anchored the front seven that allowed just 34 rushing yards, forced three turnovers and held the Lions to no points until the final six minutes of regulation. Wright is the first known defensive player in program history to score two touchdowns in a single game. He had a pick-six on a 58-yard return, and a five-yard punt-block return for a touchdown.
