MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Carissa Gehman (Messiah / Sr., F / Holtwood, Pa.) repeats as the conference offensive player of the week for her second of the season. Gehman had another big week with 10 points on five goals in a 2-0 week for No. 1 Messiah. The senior had a huge game to begin the week when the Falcons traveled to the NCAA Division II No. 1 and defending National Champion Shippensburg Raiders. Gehman scored three goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-0 dominating road win against the Division II power. Shippensburg had only allowed 15 goals prior to the loss. Gehman followed that performance with two more goals in a 3-0 win over Arcadia on Saturday. The senior eclipsed the 50-point mark for the third time in four seasons.
