MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Rachel Samson (Arcadia / So. / Newtown, Pa.) recorded three individual victories in Arcadia’s season-opening 171-61 win at Hood. The sophomore record two top-MAC times and two second-best conference times. Samson won the 100-yard freestyle (57.39 seconds), the 200-yard freestyle (2:05.09) and the 200-yard IM (2:21.24). Her 200 freestyle and 200 IM times are best in the conference thus far, while her 100 freestyle time is currently second. Samson was also part of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team that finished in a time of 1:56.42.
