MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Christine Kunzler (Widener / Sr. / Livermore, Calif.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Kunzler won two individual events and was part of two relay wins in a dominating 204-52 win over Albright. She swam the fastest time in the MAC in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at 24.70, which is less than a second slower than NCAA provisional time. Kunzler also won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 55.03 seconds, which ranks second in the conference. The senior swam the anchor leg in both the winning 400-yard freestyle relay and winning 200-yard medley relay teams. The 400 time of 3:45.96 is the best in the conference, while the 200 medley time of 1:54.02 is second best in the conference.
