MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Sainclair Tueno (Lycoming / Jr., D / Silver Spring, Md.) earns his third conference weekly award of the season after being named the MAC Commonwealth Men’s Soccer Championship MVP on Saturday. Tueno scored both of the No. 12 Warriors’ goals in a 2-1 win over No. 3 Messiah for the 2-1 win in the conference title match. He scored the game’s first two goals in the fourth minute and the 20th minute of play. Lycoming now has three conference titles in the past five seasons, and Tueno is now a two-time championship MVP. The junior added the first goal of the game in Lycoming’s 5-1 semifinal win over Lebanon Valley.
