MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Jill Bujanowski (Widener / So. / Edgewater Park, N.J.) swam seven conference best times, including three individual events and four relay events, at the F&M Invitational against Division I, II and III swimmers. Bujanowski broke the school record in the 200-yard butterfly twice, including a final time of 2:09.04 for a conference best mark. She also swam conference best times in the 100-yard butterfly (57.25 seconds) and the 200-yard IM (2:10.99). The sophomore was a part of four conference-best relay times, including the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:38.74), the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:37.15), the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:55.88) and the 400-yard medley relay (4:05.73). Their 800 freestyle relay time is the first sub-eight minute time in the conference, and better than the second best time by nearly 18 seconds.
