MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Fred Rowles (Albright / So., G-F / Fort Washington, Md.) led the Lions to a 2-0 week while averaging 16.5 points, 10 rebounds, 2.5 steals and two assists per game. Rowles had a breakout game to end the week in a 79-63 win on the road at No. 25 Franklin & Marshall. Rowles recorded a season-high 23 points with a career-high 13 rebounds and a career-best five steals. He shot 9-of-16 from the field and added three assists in the win. His 23 points were one point off his career-best mark. Rowles opened the week with 10 points, seven rebounds, a block and an assist in an 83-78 win over Widener to remain undefeated in conference action.
