MAC Wrestler of the Week
Kyle Koser (Messiah / Sr. / 197 / Dillsburg, Pa.) earns his second conference wrestler of the week honor of the season. Koser helped No. 14 Messiah to a fifth-place finish at the Division I Lock Haven Classic on Saturday with a third-place honor in the 197 lbs. class. His placement came in exciting fashion as he pinned Virginia Military Institute’s (VMI) Max Gallahan less than a minute into their bout (0:46). Earlier in the day, Koser also earned an 11-6 decision over George Mason’s Eli Spencer. Koser is now 21-2 on the season for the Falcons, and now has four pins this year.
