MAC Wrestler of the Week
Hadyn Swartwood (Lycoming / So. / 157 / Jersey Shore, Pa.) cruised while becoming the first Lycoming wrestler to repeat as MAC Champion since Tommy Snyder won three-straight in 2004-06. The Jersey Shore native opened the championship with a 16-0 technical fall over Wilkes’ Michael Brown before posting a 6-0 decision over Messiah’s Dan Swarr in the semifinals. He capped the event with a first-period pin (2:24) over Messiah’s Kevin Edwards in the 157 lbs. final. Swartwood is now 18-6 on the season.
