MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Clare Schoen (Misericordia / Jr. / Scranton, Pa.) earns her third-straight conference weekly award while continuing to get faster in both distance events. Schoen won the 3,000-meter run and finished second (top Division III finisher) in the 5,000-meter run at the Bucknell Bison Opener. She won the 3,000-meter run in a time of 10:06.34, and the 5,000-meter run in a time of 17:25.84. Both of her times rank 12th in Division III. Her 3,000 time is the best in the conference, while her 5,000 time is second.
