Ashton Gyenizs (Wilkes / Jr. / 165 / Madison, Conn.) went a perfect 3-0 at the John Reese Duals, including two extra-point victories, to lead the Colonels to a 2-1 week. Gyenizs began the day with a pin in 2:26 against Washington & Jefferson’s Schrott. The junior then earned a 19-2 technical fall in 5:25 against RIT’s Hall. He concluded the duals with a 10-6 decision over SUNY Oneonta’s Marszal.
