MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Ridge Hagar (Messiah / Fr. / Quakertown, Pa.) won the 200-yard butterfly, finished second in the 200-yard backstroke and had the fastest split time in the 100-yard backstroke for the 400-yard medley relay in a double-dual competition with Misericordia and Albright. Hagar won the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:03.65, which ranks sixth in the MAC. He finished the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:01.23, a top-10 time in the MAC. Hagar’s 100-yard backstroke split time of 54.98 seconds was not only the fastest split in the 400-yard medley relay, but was faster than any of the 100 backstroke finishers in the individual event at the meet. Hagar also led the Falcons to a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:28.92.
