MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Tyler Drews (Widener / Jr., G / Old Bridge, N.J.) had a stellar performance in a 104-80 conference road win at Hood. The junior dropped 40 points on 15-of-20 shooting, including an impressive 10-of-12 from beyond the arc. He added eight rebounds, five assists, a block and a steal in the victory. In a setback against Messiah earlier in the week, Drews scored 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting with two rebounds and a blocked shot. He finished the week averaging 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. His 40-point effort was just the second in the conference this season, and his 10 3-pointers in one game were the most by anyone in the conference this season.
