MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Carrie Fix (Messiah / Sr., P / York, Pa.) helped the Falcons to an 8-1 opening win at Methodist. Fix pitched six innings in the opener, and allowed just three hits and a single run against seven strikeouts. Her seven K’s were one short of a career-high set just last year.
