MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Bryan Gillen (Arcadia / Jr., OF / South Plainfield, N.J.) led the Knights to a 3-0 week including a 10-5 win over No. 25 Rowan. Gillen batted .538 (7-for-13) with three doubles (.769 slugging), an RBI, eight runs scored, four walks, three stolen bases and a sacrifice fly. In the 10-5 upset win over No. 25 Rowan, the junior went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and a stolen base. In a 16-12 win over Susquehanna, Gillen went 1-for-2 with four walks, four runs scored and a stolen base. In a 13-3 win over Kean, the junior went 3-for-6 with a double, RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. Gillen now has a hit in each of Arcadia’s first five games, including three, three-hit games.
