A.J. Sungenis (Widener / Fr., OH / Dresher, Pa.) had the best two-match stretch in program history, posting 5.22 kills and 2.11 digs per set and hitting .303. Sungenis had 31 kills (.348), including 10 in the first set, in a five-set thriller against Marantha Baptist on Friday. The 31 kills are a season-high for Widener by more than 10, and his 10 digs in the match gave him is second double-double of the season. Sungenis followed that up with 16 kills and nine digs in a setback to Misericordia.
