MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Katie Rabuck (Widener / Sr., P / Hegins, Pa.) allowed just two runs in 19.2 innings of work for a 0.71 ERA with a 2-1 record for the Pride. Against PSU Abington, Rabuck struck out a season-high eight batters in a 4-1 complete-game win. She followed that with a brilliant performance in both ends of a doubleheader at Albright on Thursday. After earning a tough complete-game 1-0 setback in the opener during which she allowed just three hits, Rabuck came in relief in the first inning of game two and did not allow a run in the final 6.2 frames to help Widener to a comeback win. Overall, the senior struck out 13 batters and allowed just 13 hits and two runs in 19.2 innings.
