MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Leah Franklin (Lebanon Valley / So., GK / Reading, Pa.) earns her third conference weekly award of the season. Franklin picked up two wins last week with a .611 save percentage, 8.32 goals-against average while making 22 saves on 46 shots faced in 101-plus minutes of action. The sophomore opened the week with nine saves on 21 shots in a 13-9 win over Elizabethtown. Franklin then played the final 42:26 against Lycoming an allowed just five goals while making 13 saves on 25 shots in a 21-10 victory. The Warriors erased a 3-0 LVC lead to take a 5-4 lead before Franklin entered the game and slowed things down so the Dutchmen could jump back out to a 10-5 lead before the end of the first quarter.
