MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Kendall Belser (Stevenson / Jr. / Severn, Md.) repeats as the conference track athlete of the week after anchoring a pair of relay teams that posted strong efforts at the Division I Towson Invitational on Saturday. He led the 4x100-meter relay team to a fourth-place finish behind three Division I squads with a conference best time of 41.96 seconds. The time was within a second of the conference record (41.29). The time is also ranked 15th in Division III and first in the region. Belser also anchored the 4x400-meter relay team to a top Division III finish with a time of 3:21.34, which is ranked second in the MAC, second in the region and 35th in the country. The junior also was the second fastest Division III sprinter in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.00 seconds. That time ranks second in the MAC.
