MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Melanie Haas (Lebanon Valley / So. / Mohrsville, Pa.) went a combined 3-1 at No. 2 singles/No. 1 doubles to lead the Dutchmen to two conference wins that locked up the No. 2 seed in the upcoming MAC Commonwealth Championship. In singles actions, she defeated Arcadia’s Tess Weber, 2-6, 6-3, 12-10, and then Stevenson’s Kirstyn Davidson, 7-5, 6-4. Haas teamed with Marla Scacchitti to win No. 1 doubles against Arcadia, 8-6.
