MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Jamey Mikovich (Wilkes/ Jr., MH / Nesquehoning, Pa.) led Wilkes to a 3-1 while hitting .258 with 3.38 kills per set and 4.19 digs per set. Mikovich finished the week with 54 kills, 67 digs, 10 aces, eight blocks and six assists. The junior also had three double-doubles. In a 3-0 win over PSU Brandywine, Mikovich hit .345 with 13 kills, eight digs, three assists, two aces and a block. In a setback to Lancaster Bible, the junior had 12 kills, 12 digs, two aces and a block. She finished the week in a tri-match with 15 kills, 23 digs, two blocks and two aces against PSU Harrisburg. In a win over Shenandoah, Mikovich recorded 14 kills, 24 digs, four aces and five blocks.
