MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Evelyn Logie (Misericordia / Sr., D / Scotch Plains, N.J.) was impressive on defense for the No. 24 Cougars against two top-five teams last week. Logie led Misericordia to a 2-1 win over No. 5 William Smith to begin the week. The senior helped shutdown a William Smith team who had shut out six of its previous seven opponents, holding them to one goal and just four shots on goal. Logie then had another test in a road game at No. 1 Messiah on Saturday, holding the Falcons to under 10 shots on goal and just one goal in a 1-0 set back.
