Offensive Player of the Week
Jose Tabora (Wilkes / Jr., QB / Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) earns his second MAC Offensive Player of the Week award of the season. Tabora contributed 479 total yards of offense in a 47-43 win over Albright on homecoming. The junior threw for 368 yards (28-for-47) and a school-record six touchdowns, including the game-winner with 00:11 remaining. It was the Colonels’ first win over the Lions since 2010. The quarterback also rushed for 111 yards on 22 carries in the win. His passing touchdowns were for 22, 66, 6, 28, 18 and 14 yards, respectively. Trailing 43-40 with less than two minutes to play, Tabora led a nine-play, 75-yard drive in 1:30 capped with the 14-yard touchdown pass.
