MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Hannah Summerson (Lycoming / Jr. / South Williamsport, Pa.) posted a 3-1 record across No. 1 singles and doubles last week in a pair of dual matches. In 5-4 win over Penn College, Summerson won her top-singles match, 6-0, 6-2, over Amber Janelli. She teamed up with Brittany Lenze for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Summerson added a 6-2, 7-5 win under the lights against Mount Aloysius’ Chloe Love, who had an 8-3 record entering the match. Summerson’s three wins helped her to her 64th career combined win, moving past Joy Graeff and into seventh on the school’s all-time wins list.
