MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Ricky Averill (Misericordia / Jr. / Harrisburg, Pa.) was part of four wins, including three individual wins and two conference top-marks in a sweep of Lycoming and Hood. Averill won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.55) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.55) and the 200-yard IM (2:03.13). His 200-breaststroke time is the best in the MAC, while his 100-breaststroke time is second and 200-IM time is currently third. The junior was also a member of the victorious 400-yard medley relay team that swam a conference-best time of 3:41.92.
