MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Montaque Wright (Stevenson / Sr., G / Baltimore, Md.) earns his second conference weekly award of the season. Wright led the Mustangs to a 2-0 week in MAC Commonwealth play averaging 22 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and 4.5 steals per game, while shooting 47 percent from the field, 60 percent from behind the arc and a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. The senior opened the week by posting just the second triple-double in program history with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists (with four steals) in an 80-66 win over Messiah. Wright was 8-for-16 from the field, 3-for-3 from long range and 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. In a 101-71 win over Widener, Wright scored 19 points with five rebounds, six assists and five steals.
