MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Courtney Murphy (Wilkes / Sr. / Bronx, N.Y.) earns his second conference weekly award of the season, first of the spring season. Murphy, teamed with Andrew MacDonald, placed runner-up in Flight A of doubles competition at the Ranger Invitational hosted by Drew. The duo went 2-2 in round-robin pool play on Saturday in Flight 1. They beat teams from Dickinson in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds by scores of 6-3 and 6-2 before dropping the championship match in a close match to a third Dickinson squad, 6-4.
