MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Courtney Murphy (Wilkes / Sr. / Bronx, N.Y.) earns his third conference weekly award of the season. Murphy went a combined 4-0 in No. 1 doubles and singles action to lead the Colonels to a 2-0 week. In a 7-2 win over Muhlenberg, the senior won singles, 6-3, 6-2. He teamed with Andrew MacDonald for an 8-7 (7-5) win in doubles play. In a 5-4 win over Yeshiva, Murphy won singles, 6-0, 6-1. He teamed with MacDonald again for an 8-4 doubles victory.
