MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Courtney Murphy (Wilkes / Sr. / Bronx, N.Y.) earns his fifth conference weekly award of the season. Murphy finished the week going 5-1 at No. 1 singles and doubles. The senior’s week was highlighted by a 6-3, 7-5 win over Division I Villanova’s Stefan Suarez. He also won No. 1 singles matched over Misericordia (6-0, 6-0) and DeSales (6-0, 6-1). Murphy teamed with Andrew MacDonald for wins at top doubles against Misericordia (8-0) and DeSales (8-6).
