Chase Snavely (Lycoming / So., QB / Middletown, Pa.) came into the game with 1:58 left in the third quarter after an injury to the starting quarterback and the Warriors trailing Widener, 42-23. The sophomore led Lycoming to three scoring drives over the final quarter for a shocking 19-point come-from-behind win over the Pride. Snavely led the Warriors to back-to-back scoring drives in his first two series to cut the deficit to 42-36. The first drive ended with his own one-yard touchdown run, while the second series was capped by a 24-yard touchdown pass. With 26 second remaining in the game, Snavely capped a 12-play, 49-yard game-winning drive with a hand off for a one-yard touchdown run to give Lycoming the 43-42 win. The sophomore was 4-for-5 throwing on the final drive. He finished the game with 130 yards passing, one touchdown pass and one touchdown run in the final quarter of play.
