MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Clay Smith (Hood / Sr., F / Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) finished the week with seven points on three goals and an assist to lead the Blazers to a 2-0 week. Smith scored both of Hood’s goals in a 2-1 overtime win at Eastern Mennonite. His game-winning goal came in the 92nd minute of play. In a 4-1 win at Chatham, Smith recorded a goal and added an assist. He scored the fastest goal in school history in the win, just 21 seconds into the match.
