MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Jake Varrato (Arcadia / So., GK / Allentown, Pa.) repeats as conference defensive player of the week for his second of the season. Varrato posted another clean sheet for his fourth shutout of the season. He was brilliant in net, making a season-high six saves on 16 shots faced in 1-0 (2OT) win over Susquehanna. In the 81st minute, Varrato made a big save on a one-on-one opportunity for the River Hawks. The sophomore made five saves on 14 shots faced in a tough 1-0 setback to Stockton to begin the week.
