Darnell Braswell was sensational last week leading DeSales to a 2-0 record and helping the Bulldogs clinch the #1 seed in the Freedom Conference playoffs by averaging 35.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in the two wins. He started the week with 30 points and 14 rebounds including a three-pointer with 19 seconds left to clinch the win. On Saturday he was even better totaling a school-record 41 points and 13 rebounds in the triple overtime win at King's. He hit three treys at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime, another three at the of the first overtime to send the contest into a second overtime, his put-back in the second overtime tied the game for a third overtime and his jumper in the third overtime sealed the win. Braswell's two double-doubles were the fifth and sixth of the season as he now needs just 38 points to tie the all-time scoring record at DeSales. He is averaging 20.6 points and 7.8 rebounds on the season.
