MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Jake Sankey (Eastern / Sr., D / McAlisterville, Pa.) helped the Eagles to a pair of road wins in conference action. The team’s lone senior anchored a defense that limited opponents to just six shots on goal. In a 3-0 win over Delaware Valley, the Aggies were held to just one shot, zero on goal. Then in a 2-1 double-overtime win, Sankey helped hold the Colonels to just five shots on goal, including zero in the overtime periods. The senior scored the game-winning goal in the 103rd minute.
