MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Samuel Majekodunmi (Albright / Jr., G / Staten Island, N.Y.) averaged 25 points per game over a four-game stretch over the holiday season. His stretch was highlighted by a career-high 44 points on 16-of-21 shooting in a 92-76 win over Cabrini on Dec 30. The 44 points were the most by any MAC Commonwealth men's basketball player so far this season, and the fourth most all-time in program history. Majekodunmi also posted 32 points on Dec 29 against FDU-Florham which also helped him earn a spot on the Crowne Plaza Holiday Tournament All-Tournament Team. The junior scored in double figures in each of the other three games, including 20 (Carthage), 16 (Shenandoah) and 13 (Stevenson). He finished the five-game span with 14 steals, 12 assists, 26 rebounds and 125 points.
