Emily Gates (Stevenson / Jr. / Centreville, Md.) ran a school-record 10:35.22 (10:40.69 adjusted) in the 3,000-meter run to take eighth overall at the NYC Gotham Cup on Friday. Gates was the top Division III finisher. Her time is the third-fastest in the MAC and 46th in the nation this season.
