MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Leanne Weaver (Messiah / Sr. / Boiling Springs, Pa.) won the mile at the NYC DIII Invitational at the Armory with a time of 4:58.16 (5:01.12 converted), setting both a program record and meet record in the event. Her mile time is the best in the MAC and fifth in Division III. She was also part of a program record 4x400 relay team that claimed the event in 3:54.12 (3:57.24 converted), the first ever sub-four minute time in program history. The relay time is the best in the MAC and third in the country.
