MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Leanne Weaver (Messiah / Sr. / Boiling Springs, Pa.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Weaver lowered her program record time in the mile to 4:57.89 at the Fasttrack National Invitational hosted by the Ocean Breeze Complex on Saturday. The time is three seconds off the MAC record and is ranked 10th in the nation. Weaver finished second in the event and also competed on Messiah's 4x400 Relay team that finished with an unofficial time of 3:54.0. The relay time is one second off the MAC record.
