Michael Capozzi had a tremendous week for Manhattanville on Spring Break, going 5-0 at second singles and also posting a 4-1 mark at first doubles. The sophomore cruised through his first three singles matches of the week in straight sets, then had to come back from a set down in his last two matches to win in a supertiebreaker. His most impressive win of the week was a 2-6, 6-1, (10-5) win over Kelvin Caiati of Wisconsin-Whitewater, who is ranked 20th in the Central Region by the ITA. In doubles play, Capozzi and junior Julian Oribe won their first four doubles matches of the week, including a hard-fought 9-8 (7-3) win over Dickinson, before being stopped only by the ITA's top-ranked doubles team in the Central Region, Caiati and Danny Glinert.
