MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Kathryn Wiederrecht (Messiah / Jr. / Cypress, Texas) was named the 2020 MAC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Year. Wiederrecht was a three-time gold medalist and earned three separate All-MAC First Team honors at the MAC Championship. The junior won the 200-meter dash (25.73) and was a member of the winning 4x200-meter (1:46.81) and 4x400 meter (4:04.99) relay teams. Wiederrecht also earn silver medals and was named All-MAC Second Team in the 60-meter dash (7.90) and 60-meter hurdles (9.22).
