MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week
Jordan Koller (York / Jr. / Brookeville, Md.) led York (Pa.) to a dominating victory at the season-opening Spartan Invitational at Royal Manchester Golf Club. The Spartans shot a school record 301, beating runner up Stevenson by 33 strokes. Koller earned low medalist honors on a tiebreaker with teammate Shelby Tapman as both Spartans carded a one-over-par 73. The tiebreaker gave Koller her second career individual win. Koller began her round with a one-under 35 on the front as she had birdies on four and nine and a bogey on five. Koller birdied 10 to drop to two-under but would bogey three of her final eight holes to finish one over.
