MAC Commonwealth Men’s Golfer of the Week
Nick Fioravante (York / So. / Mohnton, Pa.) started the week with a second-place finish at the Alvernia Invitational on Tuesday with a one-over-par 72 to finish two strokes back of teammate Luke Fayocavitz. York won the event for their second win of the year. On Saturday, Fioravante earned low-medalist honors with an even-par 72 at the Turtle Creek Invitational hosted by Arcadia. He had two birdies and 14 pars on the round. The Spartans captured the team tournament title, their third of the year. Fioravante finished his week with a top-10 finish at the LVC Spring Invitational. He shot an 81 as York’s third finisher as the Spartans finished second as a team. For the week, Fioravante averaged 75 in his three rounds with a win, a runner-up finish and a top-10 finish.
